Supreme Court Justice Overnights in Walmarts
They don't say what RV he and his wife are using - only that it is a "used RV".
Clarence Thomas Rving
*On Edit~ The audio link does explain more. Ginny Thomas describes in more detail their camping and tells what their RV is.

I believe all govt officials who make laws to govern this land should get out like this and see it first hand.

BTW, a thought has just struck me... If Clarence Thomas, with his "bought used in 1999" motor coach, called an "exclusive RV park" where no RVs less than 5 yrs old were allowed (one near us), they would have to tell him, "Sorry, you can't camp here."

They prob would tell him no, mainly because they would not believe, he was who he said he was, and would prob think he's a crazy man for claiming such a wild story as being a Supreme Court Justice...Hmmmmm

Jack, I'm not sure if it's re-conditioned? Prevost only sell the chassis and shell. All are then purchased by companies like Marathon Coach and then built to customer specs. Marathon does the painting, furnishings, appliances, etc. I believe this is what Ginni Thomas was referring to.
Hard to say what it sold for in the 90s, but probably a little outdated on some of it's technologies now. I'm sure there have been some upgrades after the Thomases bought it.
Maybe originally sold for the mid to upper hundred thousands in the mid 90's. Now probably still worth in the mid to lower hundred thousands? Not sure it would have slides?

A Prevost/Monaco rig even a 1999 model year has still got to be a gorgeous rig.
I vote we ask an administrator to invite them to the MOC as an SOBer! The Thomas' could be our resident legal counsel to ensure we act and treat folks properly within the MOC .... (trying to be incognito)...

A 1999 Prevost H3-45 lists for around $240,000 in today,s market. Back in the early days, the were converted Prevost Buses, and I'm thinking that that is what she is referring to as being recondition.
If you want some history on it, read this article in FMCA Magazine
And if you don't read the article, I'll tell you that the new Prevost Liberty Coach starts at around $2,000,000 (that's million)
No wonder they have to stay in Walmart!!!!!!

I knew we were keeping good company when we spent some nights in those Walmart parking lots!

That Prevost bus chassis is used by lots of manufacturers for their RV's. I know Featherlite uses them for their NASCAR buses and builds the interior in them. I'll keep an eye out around Cresco Iowa plant or the Florida plant..... :-)...JB
