Corian Counter tops

We have a 2011 Montana with the dark Corian counter tops. They are really a mess. There are scratches all over. There are only two adults in our camper and we aren’t careless. Does anyone else have this problem?

WOW, and I thought the Corian was the better counter over the "Solid Surface" we have in our Mountaineer. Apparantly they are made of similar material. On our first trip with the new unit last year we scratched the counter with a ceramic salad bowl! Since then we have been extremely careful with what we put on the counter and that even includes ceramic coffee cups. ANY cup, bowl, utensil that has an unglazed bottom never reaches the counter anymore.

Good luck with the scratch removal. That is going to be one of my spring projects.

Got dark corian in our stick home, every so often I "wet sand" them with 600 grit paper and buff them out with an automotive buffer. makes them brand new again.

When I was taking a woodworking class at a local collage we had a company certify us for Avanite which is the same as Corian or any other solid serface, just differant colors mostly but the manufacture process is the same, me and all my carpenter friends were going to do all our home counter top with solid serface but after we saw how much work they were along with the Cant do this or that we sorta let the whole porject go south, we then went for Granit tops the cost was the same per square foot but no maintenance like the solid serface. and we are much happier along with the wife too. the only problem is its to heavy for RV's. I might be old fashoned and formica has quite a few selections and less maintenance.

When I had Corian put in my stick built home the dealer said to use Scotch Brite pads to remove scratches and stains.
It WORKS.
