Mirror/Television

At the La Mesa RV show in Glendale we saw what I assume was TV's that looked like a mirror when not turned on. I assume they were TV's as they had the wiring etc like a TV but I did not see one turned on. It was pretty hot out, around 85 degrees so I did not stay inside the trailers for to long. Anybody else see these?

We saw one in the bedroom of a 2015 SOB while we were looking for a trailer. At first we thought it was just a mirror until the sales person told us that it was also a TV. All the wires were hidden in behind the unit making it a clean looking installation.

Think I'll stick with a mirror that is a mirror and a TV that's a TV. At my age there are too many mirrors in the world as it is

Us too, no need for any extra mirrors to look at either.

A little different, but drove a new C6 Cadillac last week. The rear view mirrors are not RearView mirrors. Cameras that you can adjust to give you the view you desire. So smile, Allen Funt died too early! Lol.

Saw at tampa rv show. There is light loss through that one way glass, so tv has to account for that. Don't think I would ever go that route, but if your dw says I like it...you are headed down that path. John

I am always interested in new technology. I would rather have some of the new technology than what some of the laws are forcing on my beliefs of what people are or aren't. For an example let's look at independent suspension and disk brakes verse what used to be offered. As for the new TV/Mirror time will tell if they work well and have the durability to last in our RV environment.
