Speakers
Does any one know where you can get speakers that fit in the holes that the original speakers fit on a 2008 2955. Our Montana was built in May 2007.
Thanks
Don

Any car audio shop should be able to fix you up with some. You'll have to remove them first so they can match the physical size as well as the ohm rating.

Measure the length and width of the speaker then do a google search, ie. 5x7 speaker. I think most auto speakers are 4 ohm although there may be a few higher. I think home speakers are a multiple of 4.

Don,
Bose Acoustimass 6 speakers will fit the openings without any modification. I believe some of our MOCers have done this.

Don, you should be able to get the speakers from Keystone. However, I had a speaker bracket break, and I ordered a set of speakers (2), and two speaker hangers. I figured I would use the speakers, or at least have a replacement if one went bad. Well I changed campers before I needed the speakers. Measure the ones you have, and if I can find them and they are the same, I'll C.O.D. them to you. Kerry

Don,
Do you need to replace the speakers? Our sub woofer did not work, I took it apart and two wires were not soldered. I resoldered them and presto we now have a sub woofer.

Parts Express ( www.partsexpress.com ) sells small cube Home Theatre style speakers of varying sizes at reasonable prices. They also sell higher end speakers....all depands on how much you want to spend.
