Hello everyone!

My husband and I just bought a new Montana 3295RK (merlot). We're not full timing yet, but that's our goal. I would like to retire early and do a little work as we travel, but I'm still trying to convice my husband that we could do this. We also have to get a bigger truck to haul our new home. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area with our "kids" the four little fuzzbutts. That would be our ferrets: Oreo, Sierra, Mitsu and Toshi. I'm sure looking forward to eventually meeting you all. If you're ever passing through, Give us a holler, maybe we could do lunch or fire up the barbque for dinner.

Marti and Don and the 4 fuzzbutts!

Marti and Don.
Welcome to the MOC forum. Thanks for taking the time to post and tell us a little about yourselves. You have chosen a great unit. We love our 3295RK. Tom just retired in November and we are truly enjoying being semi full timers. We do still have a vacation home in the mountains of WV. Biggest challenge was downsizing from our home in GA and deciding what we did and did not need for this new adventure in our lives. Looking forward to hearing about your experiences and hopefully meeting you somewhere down the road!

Welcome to MOC. We too have a 3295 and really enjoy it. We do not fulltime and probably never will. But we go camping just about every weekend and spend weeks on vacation. Enjoy yourselves and happy camping

Welcome thecherishedferret to the MOC Family.

Never knew anyone that had ferrets as pets and definitely never in an RV.
I know you, your hubby and the ferrets are going to love that new Montana and as far as convincing your hubby just have him visit this forum and hear what the fulltimers such as Lorraine and I have to say about our fulltiming lifestyle. Most will tell you that they only regret they have is that they didn't do it sooner. Life is to short, if you can do it now than I say DO IT.

Welcome aboard! We also love our 3295RK. There are many people doing exactly what you propose to do, including a number of MOC members. Don't hesitate to ask questions. The toughest part is taking that step to "take the plunge." After that it's a great way of life. Hope it works out for you. Keep us posted as your coming adventure develops.

Steve is right guys....ask questions. This is the best group I have seen in regards to sharing data and support. Hope it all works out. The wife and I are not full timing at this point, but are ready.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm soooo ready to start rolling. I'm so glad that I've found this site. Never heard of anyone with ferrets in an RV? Well its an adventure, if you know ferrets, it's like having a 2yr old child running around, into everything. But I think we have everything ferret proofed. Don't want to start traveling and have them slip out and get lost.

And thank you, we will call on you guys if we have any questions about our Montana.

Also to Steve and Vicki, you did a wonderful job with your postcards. I loved it!!! I'm looking forward to your 2005 postcards.

Marti and Don ... You probably didn't know your Montana came equipped with 1600+ new friends, did you? And thank you for the kind words about my Postcards. I really enjoy writing them and it's always nice to hear that people are enjoying them.

FYI ... I've written a couple of Postcards recently and I think Steve is going to put them on the website today or tomorrow.
