lippert auto leveling system

I got back yesterday from the dealership, they had worked on replacing the hydraulic jack on the bed slide. That works now, but the Lippert auto leveling system will NOT auto level. It will go through the sequence to auto level and to the naked eye it looks level. and I wait for the beep that it's done leveling.
It has the green dot in the center of the four arrows and the next thing I should here the beep and should be done, but then the driver side levels take off and start to raise the 5th wheel higher it will get the tires off of the ground about 6" and I'll stop the system by tuning it off (FAST).
I have noticed that the whole time the system is on the right arrow is always flashing the red LED even during the auto leveling. I think this is where my problem lies.
I did go through and did the zero leveling. had the unit level (manually) and did what Lippert instruction said to do all was good with that.
I'm just waiting for the dealership to call Lippert to find out what's going on. The dealer seams to think the control board went bad. I find it hard to believe that this just seam to happen at the same time they been working on the Lippert hydraulic system.
I also get a message (sometimes) when I try to manual level, the angle is to steep, I'm setting on level concert no angle.

Did they happen to move the level sensor that is screwed to the overhead in the compartment? This would cause the whole system to act goofy.

Also, don't wait for the dealer to talk to Lippert. Call them direct. Their customer service is good and they will talk to you and help you thru it.

What would this sensor look like? And the overhead compartment, are you talking about the area where the hydraulic pump is located? the front of the 5th wheel?

The black box is about 1 1/2" square if I remember correctly. And yes it should be located in the front compartment to the overhead floor.

Thanks I'll take a look. But I won't get much done today. It's the OHIO QSO party, A HAM Radio contest for Ohioans try to make a QSO (contact) each county or any state, or country. It's a good time if your into HAM radios. this is a 12 hour contest starting at noon.

Called Lippert again yesterday and the service guy knew exactly what the problem was. the Blue and Purple wires on the coil packs were cross. that fix everything with the leveling issues I had. The DQDICK for the suggestion to call them.

I have a similar issue where my Lippert Auto Level system fails to level on my 2016 3511RL. (Error message - Auto Level Failed).
It will cycle through the auto level routine, then stall at the 'leveling front' stage and finally trip out with the error message.
Any thoughts?

The only suggestion I would give you is what DQDICK told me to do. call Lippert service. They are very helpful and friendly. I was on my cell phone out at my 5th and they were having check things.

I had the same problem at the Grand Canyon last January called Lippert tech ( by the way great people to deal with)
Took a small knife to pop control board out unplug from back wait 30 seconds replug snap back in worked perfect. Good luck.

Thanks Lucky - I'm going to call Lippert tomorrow when I take the rig out again.
I'll be tooled up for any 'resets'

My wires were crossed too. Camping World finally figured it out. Scary when the tires come 6 inches off the ground.

My 6 point Lippert would not work brand new from the Montana factory. It took Camping World a couple of tries and they finally had to replace both the board and the wiring harness but it works now like a charm.
