Rear speaker brackets

Need some direction from the all knowing very clever members of the MOC. I have had both of my rear surround sound speaker brackets break where the little ball fits in the holder. The brackets seem they are made of extremely cheap plastic.
Has anyone found a better replacement for these brackets? All ideas or suggestions welcome. Thank you.

Radio Shack makes a metal replacement and they ARE proud of them. Not cheap but work great and just like the plastic junk that Keystone installs.

Also check out Wal-Mart, Lowes and Home Depot. We had to replace ours a couple years ago, got them at Meijers here in Ohio. Both brackets were under $15 and I don't think these will break like the original.

I took a 2" X 2" little zinc angle bracket, painted it flat black. Figured out what size of screw went in the back of the speaker and mounted them to the bottom of the rear cabinets in the trailer. You can't rotate them around, but I don't think any one has anyways. Like $2.00 to mount both, and I know they won't break. As you can see, you can't tell any difference.

On my unit the center speakers above the TV also have the ball mount brackets. You could just trade the broken one for one of them until you find something better.
