Will this way work
I am planning a trip from Southern CA to the Denver CO area and want to stop in Durango CO on my way. Can anyone suggest a route. By looking at a map i don't know if it is RV friendly. I tried to use my Magellan RV9365 to check if RV friendly and the GPS only routes me from home, not along the way. Is there a way to look at the GPS from one POI to the next, instead of from current location?
Any help will be appreciated.

Probably just take I-40 to Flagstaff, then go north up through Tuba and on to Durango.

The Good Sam site has a pretty good trip planner, shows whatever you want along the way, and you can select different directions to go.

There are several ways to go from Durango to Denver. I will only mention the one I am most familiar with and would recommend.
Take US 160 E to Del Norte where you take CO 112 a short distance to Center where you pick up US 285 N. There is a turn at Johnson Village near Buena Vista where US 285 joins US 24 E, but you stay on US 285 to Denver-- UNLESS you want to go by Colorado Springs which would require you to stay on US 24.
This route will take you over Wolf Creek Pass between Pagosa Springs and South Fork, a major pass in Colorado, but with a very good highway. Just be prepared to keep speed down on descent.
Lots of good places to stay around Durango. We just spent a week at Blue Spruce near the Vallecito Lake, but that's pretty far off the main highway. Lots of other good places around Buena Vista in the Arkansas River Valley.
I could go on and on, but you only asked about the route. I can tell you that we made it just fine with a 34' fifth-wheel and a 2007 Chevrolet Duramax/Allison 2500, just a month ago.
I can make other campground suggestions along this route if you need. You can post, PM, or email me if you wish.
