Unfriendly RV park, Flat Rock,NC

This is the most unfriendly rv park in the usa, its LAKEWOOD RV RESORT in Flat Rock ,NC
The owners think they can do anything and you will accept it like driving through sites next to youes at great speed and when you say somrthing they say well we will name it a road,, I think we will be kicked out in the am but not without a fight and a full refund,,,sailer

How could anybody be unfriendly to you and Sharon? - you are some of the most friendly people I have ever met!

I think you should just find a new place to stay, then leave, telling them you have notified thousands of other campers via our forum but good luck getting a refund unless it's for the balance of days unused if you paid ahead. Nimrods like that don't seem like the type to refund you for days spent there.

Are you positive it was the owners acting that way and not the hired help? It is not a good example of how to act in a CG especially by the owners. How does the phrase go? Treat others as you want to be treated, the customer is always right, etc.

If you put it on a credit card, file a dispute with your card company. What do you have to loose.

Besides notifying all of us, put it in RV Park Reviews

Saw you pulling out this AM. I was about 10 sites down from you. We have been here for a month, and just upped our reservations for another 4 months today as we like it so much. We have had no problems, very quite park, very clean, and all of the people we have met have been very nice. This is very surprising to me. The owners have went out of their way to make everyone enjoy their stay that we have saw. Have saw them loan tools to work on campers, change peoples site if a bigger one became available. As Art asked, are you sure it was the owners or could it have been a long term resident from the park models on the hill? Not dis-agreeing with what you have said, but that is completely different than anything we have saw in the month we have been here.

Hello Sailer - It's unfortunate you had to deal with a problem like that and leave,we had a similiar problem campimg awhile back and left a campground also...it does happen. We will be in site # 70 at Creekwood Farm in October...hoping it's a user friendly campground.

John, Sharon, We just left creekwood a couple weeks ago. If anyone is traveling I-40 around Crossville Tn., A VERY nice campground called Spring Lake is a good one. We followed Waynem's advised. He told us about it. Price is good also a PPA campground. only 3 1/2 mil;es off of I-40. The owners and workers are good people. A clean , neat campground.

We are in a SOB now. Traded our Montana about a year or so ago. Always look for Montana's when in parks to see if they are in this group. When we change rigs again, will be looking at Montana's. Glad to see you found a good park. Was going to tell you to skip Rutledge Lake as we just left there. Felt like a sardine in a small can, have you packed in there.
