Dometic 310 water level

Is it normal for the water level to be 2+ inches? My new one continues to weep out of the holes for a minute or so after flushing. JT

Not sure about 2" but they do hold more water than a Tetford becasue the water comes from around the bowl instead of just in the back. They also have a deeper bowl.

It probably holds at least 4-5 times as much as the old Thetford. Just kinda worried about water management since the only time we camp with sewer is when we are hosting. JT.

I’ve noticed with our 310 that the water level after a flush depends a lot on the water pressure coming into the rig. If we have closer to 20 psi, we may be lucky to have an inch of water in the bowl. Another factor is how long you hold the pedal down. If it’s a number 1 flush and is quick, the level will be low. Just a lot a variables.
