Rich,

Glade you unit finally arrived. Sorry you are not going to make the Mid-Atlantic Rally this year. We can't go to PA rally, grand-baby due any day.

Glad things are looking up. If Keystone's body paint is anywhere near as good as the paint on our SOB MH, it will be worth the wait. The paint not only looks great, it is virtually indestructible.

The dealership found a blemish on the underside of the awning and knew we would not buy that so they ordered a new one.Town and Country Rv are real professionals on the PDI. Matt the lead guy has been on overtime doing ours.As the last time when we go up there Matt will dare me to find something wrong.
We will go to the dealership to close the deal and pick it up Monday afternoon.

We will end this thread with this last post and start a new one describing our experiences..good or bad. The PDI went perfect. There was a blemish on the underside of the awning that the dealer caught and ordered a new one before we even got there. We both wondered how the so called "quality control" at the factory missed that as when you rolled down the awning it was right there.Shame on you Montana.

Note that the Big Sky IS NOT 100% full body paint anywhere it says Montana or Big Sky it is a graphic. I do not recall seeing that in any of the marketing. Shame on you again Montana.

we gained some space and lost some space over the 06 3400. The 6 point leveling system is ..awesome.
Oh the real length of the 3402 is 40 feet 3 inches not the 39.1 that is marketed. What is hard about being truthful Montana.

It is real pretty inside and out..we are ...happy campers..

Great news there Rich and Helen. Good to hear the painting did not delay your delivery. Also great to heart your PDI went well. We are awaiting a delivery date on our 3582RL. Suppose to get the date by mid June.

I had a very long talk with the factory representative at the “RV Show” and he said that it was not cost effective to pay a painter that can airbrush the mountain outline and the word “BIG SKY” that is why they still have to use decals for that.
I hear that is why the warranty is for three years for the decals…

Yes there is 3 sets of decals still on the Big Skys. The words Big Sky are all decals. Now that is the bad news.... the good news is, if they peel and you have to removed any of the graphics underneath is still 2 tone paint. We had our front decal completlely off and it was a hard decision to put it back on or not. It looked great without it. Since the dealer paid to take it off and put it on we decided to go with the decal again. If and when it does not hold up we'll take it off and still be happy. It does not look like a plain white refrig. Montana will loose its advertising and the unit still looks great. Hope this makes sense. I read your previous threads and thought about the decals of the words but thought perhaps they changed things. You'll love it either way! Enjoy the new rig! See you tomorrow at the rally. Safe travels.
