Thanks to all for you expressions of affection and congratulations. We will be leaving here tomorrow morning, driving to Dallas and flying out of DFW at 3:30. One stopover in Frankfurt and then on to Prague by Friday afternoon.

We hope to be online, so I will try to post a note every once in a while.

With deep appreciation for this online family,

David and Shirley

Congratulations, David and Shirley; what a wonderful milestone in your lives. June certainly is a popular month for weddings. Dave and I celebrate 30 years on 25 June. Your trip sounds wonderful. You know you'll have to share lots of pictures! Take care.

David & Shirley,
I know you're already on your way, but I still wanted to say congrats on your 50 years
and have a wonderful time on your trip!

We'll be BBQing using your favorite BBQ sauce receipe, so we'll be thinking of you on the 4th!
I always tell people, this is how they make it in Texas!

Be safe and look forward to hearing of your adventure.

Thanks for all the expressions of congratulations and good wishes. We are back in Texas, but not quite back home. We landed at DFW airport yesterday around 2:00 pm, got a nice motel room, and slept for 14 hours. We will drive on home today.

We had a great trip and will post a few more details once we arrive at home. Now we have to crank up our Chevrolet and hook up to the Montana to see some more of the USA!

Happy Independence Day!

Now we are really home. All is well, except that it is "too wet to plough" (actually for me, too wet to mow). We have been spared the flooding that some of our Texas neighbors have suffered, but even for us "the drought has been broken!"

I have posted a few photos, but instead of inserting in the message I will just insert the links for those who might wish to view:

EDITED (July 6) I have now have begun to post web pages:

This will be my final update on photos from our trip to Europe {I promise!}

Instead of adding each new page, I will add to our home page CLICK HERE. If you wish to see these photos scroll down the page to the section entitled: "Our Trip to Europe, 2007" and select the page you wish to view.

The beauty of putting it on the web page is that those who are not interested will not be forced to look at it, while those who may be interested will find it easy to view.

We had a great time, but are looking forward to our next trip in the Montana!
