Single battery backup

Can I run the fireplace on the battery if boondocking?

You could if you have the right inverter, but the amp draw would make it a short experience. A lasco tower heater will drain six golf cart batteries down to half before the night is over. You can guess how I know, but not what caused me to be stupid enough to find out.

We run the fireplace often from batteries via inverter, we just turn off the space heater portion DW likes the ambiance
