Sliding doors in bedroom
We have a huge problem with our bedroom closet door sliders. They come apart/break whenever we are on the road. Anyone else has that problem? 2013 3150 model.

Go up and do a search for closet door issues. Several posts on that topic.

Yes has been discussed many times here. In short, most people use some method of keeping them secured in the open position. Personally, I keep mine in the closed position. Just made a 6000 mile trip and closet doors remained closed and secure the whole trip. I will admit that when I first got the unit, on the trip from the dealer, the doors opened and broke. I repaired and discovered that they were not installed correctly. Some of the lower brackets that snap into the lower track were not pushed in thereby allowing some of the doors to move breaking the top brackets allowing the doors to fall. Once installed right, have not had the issue again.

Added 3 Feet of additional track on each side in front of the original track and that solved the problem. There really should have been a double track on the floor. I can not remember the company I got the track from. But they supplied Keystone. If you do a search for the track and add a piece to each side then the doors can't separate they will be held in place. Keystone must have saved a whole $20.00 per unit. But gave us the aggravation to deal with the door problem. I would have gladly paid $50.00 more for the unit than deal with the door problem....Thanks Keystone for saving a couple of dollars!!!

Once the dealership replaced the plastic brackets with metal (under warranty), we have not had a problem.

We had the same problems, I removed the doors and reattached the wood strips(brads and wood glue) that catches the doors as they bypass each other. Also I cut a 2x3" long enough to fit on top of the cabinet to the clothes hanger, cut a V grove out to fit the metal rod and put rubber in the grove, also pad the other end. This helps supports the weight of all you hang. After a bumpy ride I had to add 40 screws and this support because half the hanger came down (of course on my wife side) I also replaced the brackets to metal, and we leave the by pass doors open and attach bungee cords to the hanger and door latches when we travel.

This is one reason that I am happy that I have the BD3 hitch in my truck!
