Winterizing the Splendide washer
Has anyone put the pink stuff in their Splendide washer to winterize it? If so, how is it done? My husband usually blows out our lines to winterize our rig, or at least that's what he did with the previous SOB. We didn't have a washer in that one.
Thanks in advance!

When you've got the pink stuff in the lines, run a rinse and spin cycle.

You can download a users manual that has specific instructions how to winterize.

Go to this Splendide site and click on winterization. I do it every year.

For washer, with compress air hooked up (40-45 psi) start the washer on fill warm water setting, so both lines are opened. When you get only air coming out, stop the washer and start on the drain setting. Put pink stuff in side the washer, and and start drain setting again. This will treat the washer and the washer trap.

I have reliable power in my RV barn, so I put two 60 watt bulbs in the washer tub rather than using the pink stuff.

Oh how I wish we had an RV barn... With or without power! We had agreed after selling our previous fifth wheel that we wouldn't buy another until we put up a barn. Then I found our Monty. My dear husband agreed to get it for me. The barn is just not in the cards right now. Hopefully it will happen before we retire.
For now, he printed out all the suggestions and winterized this afternoon. Thanks again!
