cable

I did a search but did not find what I was looking for... My cable is free at American RV. When I hook up the cable to the "coach cable" should I now have the option of air tv or cable? Thanks again for all your suggestions guys

You did not state year or model of your unit.
Normally the black button for the TV antanna amplifier will have a green LED light on it when on. If ON then over the Air. If off you should be able to receive Cable.
I hope this helps.

X2 what John said. On most RVs the outside cable connection goes to the Aux input side of the Antenna Amp. With the amp on LED lit signal from the antenna is routed to bed room, living room, and on some units the basement. With the amp off, LED out the signal from the outside cable connection is now routed to those locations and not the antenna signal.

If you choose cable, make sure the button on your antenna amplifier is turned off. I've heard if you don't it may burn up the amplifier.
