Vents on top of a 3400RL

There are four vents on top of our rig for the four tanks in the under belly. Which one is for the black tank? I plan to put a different vent on the black tank vent pipe.

Jay Bird,
I would chose the one on the roof that is near your toilet. It probably goes up the wall behind the toilet.

Jay Bird, Jim's reply is what you call a "gotcha". However, I go along with what Joe form Canon City Co. had to say. That would be my guess.

are you replacing it with the vent with the fin, so wind catches it & pulls air out better? Wonder how hard they are to install.

I saw this one for the black tank. Instead of a fin it has a powered fan. Iwonder if these work?

Send the wife up on the roof. Sit on the pot and pass gas. When she hears the sound, that's the pipe.

Mike, I am installing a fin vent (Extreme Vent). Not hard to install.

Les, Interesting. But I think I want something that is suppose to be working all the time without human intervention.

Wayne, this is the best answer yet.

That would work. They sure are good at hearing that particular sound.

I'm also curious as to how well the fin type works and also the fan type. Having twice left that cap somewhere on the road (low tree limbs) I'm not anxious to spend a lot of money to put anything other than the cheapest cap up there unless there is a major benefit. Do they really make a difference?
