Rear stabilizers

Ok.. My 3700 was delivered.. HOWEVER... the real stabilizers would not come down by either electric or manual. They are sending a tech out tomorrow to fix the problem.. seems kinda weird that the manual crank would not work either.. Thoughts????

This can happen if they are damaged and tweaked enough that they won't come down, or if they are electric they have "locked" in place.

Did you actually test them on the PDI? During our PDI the guy would just try and explain how something would work, then I would say, "I'm from Missouri, you need to show me, too". Doing this a few times and the PDI tech got the message I wanted to see how all this stuff worked too. The PDI took a little longer but everything worked when I left the dealer.

I can't say everything kept working afterwards but at least I can say things were "broken". The list of things that broke afterwards is enough for another topic (that I've posted before, but too long ago to bother once again). Everyone's list can vary.

It's nice they're sending out a tech! Let us know what they find (and fix).

Unfortunately he did not and my service Tech guy called me and apologized to me as well as told me that the tech did not do his job properly. The coach is not leveled yet.. not twisted just lower on one side then the other. I'll keep you posted

Mike,

The stabilizers are not designed to level the coach, just stabilize it. You need to block under the wheels for left and right level. Front feet for for and aft level, then stabilizers go down to steady things.

Since I camp in lots of un-even sites, I had BigFoot installed, which is designed to level in all directions, just put button and it levels automatically. I left the stabilizers on when I had BigFoot installed but have never used since BigFoot installation.

Level-Up is another system use on Montana's (factory option now), and is also fine system.

Mine did the same last year. Apparently I had retracted them too far with the remote and they jammed. It took me quite a while using WD-40 and the manual crank to get them loose. I'm now careful not to run them up too tight.
