Holding tank overflowing????

I filled by galley tank and my shower tank while sitting level at the campsite, then lowered the front end to hook up and go dump the tanks. As I was lowering the rig, gray water started seeping out of the front left side. Any ideas?

We've had trouble with all three tanks leaking if over filled. I think they leak where the inlet pipe goes into them. It is my understanding the pipe enters through a grommet....not a water tight connector.

We experienced the same thing. Turned out to be a small crack at the top of the grey tank right at the seam. Can't be found unless the tank is filled completely. Ours was doing that for two years and we had it in to two RV service places, one in CA and one in MO. Neither place found the leak. Took the rig in to our dealer here in Hiawatha, IA and they found the leak. In fact, they told me where the leak was before they even looked at it! I saw the tank when they took it out so I can understand why the tank must be filled to enable the RV tech to find the leak. Mine was one that couldn't be repaired.

You probly have a leak when it is level and when you tip it then the water runs to where the belly pan has an opening and it runs out.

I have had water get in there when driving on rainy days and somehow it gets in the belly. Then when I tip the fw it runs out.

A good reason to get a "Blueboy" to drain your gray tanks into and then dump it. Saves the hassle of taking the whole rig to the dump site, unless you are leaving for good.

I don't believe a Blueboy would help fix the leak.

I also have a leak in the Galley tank which is somewhere in the top of the tank. I just don't fill it all the way.
