Pin Levels

On my current Travel Trailer I have a Wheel Masters level on the front that I can see from the cab of the truck so I can check level. I'm trying to determine what would be the best way to do this with our new 3150rl when it comes in.

So I was wondering how many of you are using pin levels and if you are what type?

We park, then wife gets out our 8 inch torpedo level, puts it on the floor and makes me pull up while she places a board or two under the wheels (if needed), I back up on the boards and Voila!! Level. Front to back is done by front jacks with a 1 inch level on the side of the trailer by the leg switch. I have one of those big levels for the pin but never installed it..

I got my dealer to install the big level on the pin before purchase. It's the one with the one mark equals one inch of blocking. It has the front to back level as well. Very easy to level.

We have the big level. Beats using the spirit level, BUT, the two-foot spirit level is 1/4 the width of the trailer, so I just multiply the offset by 4 and lift one side of the axles to suit. I'm still getting used to the big level.

Have a big level on the pin also. Would not be with out one. You get used to how much you have to put under the low side to bring it back to level.
