Furnace question

On my '09 Monty, went to try out the furnace and when I turned on the Control center (thermostat)I could get cool or fan but not heat. Am I missing something?

IF you know you have propane, try turning the tanks OFF, then back on VERRYYYY SLOWLY. There is a fast flow shutoff valve inside the tank that protects from sudden losses. Turning it on slowly means you won't trip this valve. Check gas flow on stove top once you do this. That's my only suggestion, someone else may have another trouble shooting idea. Good Luck....

If you have 2 AC's, press the 'zone' button at the bottom of the thermostat. The heater indicator is only on one of the displays.

On my control unit I use the "mode" switch to select, Fan, Cold, then Furnace. If you are using your mode switch and keep pressing it repeatedly and if it only ever shows "Fan", "Cool" and only those choices then the furnace is possibly not connected so it's not being recognized. This is a definite problem. There isn't anything you should have to do to enable the Furnace option.

Again, this is how my climate control works, yours might be different. I will check my owners manual and see if I can find anything. If I find something I will re-post.

If the unit is under warranty, a quick call to the dealer's service center might get some help.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. As Art says, my CCC also has a mode button which must be pressed until "Furnace" shows on the display. If it doesn't show Furnace, there is something wrong with it and should be taken in for checking.

If you have not used the furnace before the furnace dip switch may have never been turned on. when I installed my CCC it would not run on heat. thats what I had to do. just a thought.

We have a 2006 Montana 3400RL. We have a thermostat with the remote control. We have had trouble with our furnace freezing up and not being able to get it to turn on or off. We have had to reset it a number of times. I read that there is a control module in the AC..is there a way for us ..to change that ourselves. Or can we change thermostats and fix the problem that way.

Lots of folks on here have changed theres to the CCC. I did mine myself it is a easy fix. you need to replace the control box in the bottom of the a/c and the t-stat. I hated the remote control in my 06 best thing I ever did was replace it.
