The District Manager from Loves I sent an email to answered me! I was surprised he responded. He told me that Loves did have a solution for RVers to pay at the pump. He suggested I simply go to their web site (www.loves.com) and apply for the express card. Problem is the express card is a fleet and required you to purchase so many gallons a month. I wrote him back and told him that wasn't much of a solution unless I was spending $50,000 a year in fuel. Maybe I am missing something on their site. Anyone out there have a regular gas card from Loves that can be used in the diesel lanes?

I will have to admit that we do not consider "regular' fuel stations when on the road and pulling the Montana. We are willing to pay a few cents more for the convenience of ease of fueling at a truck stop. Looking at Gas Buddy for our Home area Regular station prices are from 3.899 to 3.999 with the pilot at 3.939. Now should we be unhooked that is a different story. Here we fuel at a sheetz less than 1/2 mile from my driveway at 3.899 diesel as well as a speedway the same distance. We are right off a Ohio TPK exit.

That's our feelings as well!

Sounds like Loves still doesn't want the RVer's business. I for one will not use them unless it's an emergency.

Same here. No problem with Pilot/FlyingJ (except the typical high prices), but it seems a hassle at Loves...therefore, we don't go there.

Get the RV plus card for FJ/ Pilot for 6/8 cents off. It evens out the higher prices.

I use a Costco business Amex card. It gives me 4% off for fuel purchases. The regular Costco card offers 3% for fuel. No purchase/gallon limit on either card. Nice when I'm filling my 87 gallon rig!
Grocery store fuel purchases (Safeway, Fry's etc) are not included but truck stops are.

I just recently acquired the Pilot RV Plus card, but haven't had a chance to use. Curious to see the difference in price and hopefully not have to go into the office to give them how much I want, $40, $50 or whatever.

If you get the Good Sam life time membership Flying J card it gives you 8 or 9 cents off a gallon which usually brings the price down to where it is normally cheaper then anyone else around the exit. But the real nice thing is you just swipe it at the pump. Don't matter if it's the car pumps or the truck lanes, swipe, pump and go. I set mine up to where I pay the bill on line, not to where they deduct it automatically. I think there is a $1500 limit that way. It's pretty simple and I think the cheapest way to fuel up on the interstate with out traipsing around the countryside looking for cheap fuel. Just get the Flying J app on your cell phone to locate all the Flying J/Pilots .......
