Montana Roof
I just finished washing the summer off the roof of my rig. I found a strange "splatter" pattern radiating from the center of the rig and affecting all parts of the roof but not the slide toppers. Rig went to a reputable dealer for a full cleanup mid-spring and has been parked in the open behind my house since. After I finished washing the roof I noticed that the "splatter" pattern was still discernible as what appear to be wear spots. Has anyone had this experience? If so, what caused it in your case. I think that it may be a cleaning agent that was not properly rinsed and so "cooked" in the sun all summer.

A cleaning agent should not be used on the roof other than a mild soap like dawn regular.

I would check the ingredient list, many of them have petroleum products which is a big no no on our roofs

Beware that RV Accessories Stores will sell whatever we will buy. Only use the blue Dawn on your Dicor roof material.

I believe it was recommended by Dicor at a rally to only use Dawn dishwashing soap.

Dicor recommended the use of Regular Dawn. I still have the handout. I remember they also said that folks still wanted something to clean the roof so Dicor formulated there own wash to cash in. the still recommend Regular dawn, They recommended tilex to remove the mold under controlled conditions.
