Explain my communications anomaly

We were at Milford Lake (Junction City and I-70) this past weekend ... broiling hot, but away from work. Late Friday, a motorhome pulled in for the night. By coincidence I was tuning in the rooftop antenna ... until they left the next morning, we got over the air stations as far away as Springfield, Missouri along with the Kansas City stations clear as a bell. Once he left and drove down the lake road a few hundred feet the next morning, we got virtually nothing over the air. How was I using his dome dish to get over the air TV stations or was it something else?

You were most likely using his reflection to improve your ground plane. Or, it could be aliens.

Lotsa meteriorites in Kansas ... would figure aliens amongst us too. What better way to move around than cloaking themselves as RVers!

Actually we had a solar storm last week and maybe the combination of that and the rig next door had something to do with it. We're on a hill here and can still only get WIBW and not even that all the time.

The last place we were at I could not get the same channels on both TV's. I went over all the wiring and re-searched for channels several times but the channels on the bedroom TV were different then the channels on the Livingroom TV. Had me scratchin my head the whole time we were there.

I was at the Roswell Wally World this morning and ask a nice grayish-green couple about this, I was told "no self respecting alien would do anything to help with Television reception, we do help out with Cell signal and an occasional WIFI problem though" Just thought I would let you know :-)

steelpony5555 ... I have the same issue at the stick house and sometimes my fiver. The tuner is of better quality on some TVs compared to others ... our signals are most likely the same to each TV ... it's up to the TV circuitry to go from there.
