Iota Converter

We have a Iota -75 converter.. About once a month or so the 20 amp breaker will trip.. Usually not the same thing running at that time.. The first time it happened we had left it parked for a few days with just the furnace on so the pipes would not freeze.. It tripped the other day and we had the air on.. not sure what is going on..
Thanks.

I have experienced this, and others have posted it too. I have no idea why it does this. Someone said they thought it only did it when hooking up to shore power, but like you, ours has tripped after sitting a while. Until I saw other were having this issue, I thought maybe the breaker was weak or bad.

Hope this is not your case, but my 55 Iota started doing this occasionally, then died on me completely. If My converter starts doing this again that is the first thought that will be coming to my mind.

My situation was an indicator that my converter was in it's death throes...

I checked to see what else was on the breaker.. nothing else went off when I tripped the breaker.. My first thought after that was that it was getting too hot.. just a thought.. Thinking about installing another 3 inch fan next to it.. hope to have that done before it kicks the breaker again.. not sure if it will help.. I guess we will have to wait and see if it dies... not sure what else is going on with it..
Thanks for all your suggestions...

Have not check the wires on back of the breaker yet.. Will try and get it done today. I will even check all the connections on the converter.
Thanks..
