Aux Fuel Tank for Yamaha Generator

Has anyone added a gas tank for your Yamaha generator? Someone said to get a marine tank at Walmart. But my Yamaha 2400 does not have a fuel pump. I can easily disconnect the fuel line from the Yamaha built-in tank and coonect it to the marine tank - but will it suck the gas from the bottom of the marine tank? Someone said they thought it would. I would like to confirm this, please.
Thanks,
jmg

Not sure about the particular 'marine' tank you are looking at but there are numerous posts of using extended tanks posted on RV.net and also on Yahoo -- go to the Honda Gnerators groups -- if the link works try this: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...ec=group&slk=1 . Basically what happens is you fill your honda's tank and then as it that tank is drawn from it generates a vacumn which pulls the fuel from the aux tank. Several people have multiple generators pulling from one larger tank -- pictures and writeups available there as well.

It works - I just tried it.
No fuel pump needed. It works because of the siphonage effect - just set the aux tank a little higher than the gen set.
