Bug screens

Any opinion on using bug screens on the outside side refrigerator vent covers; as to whether or not they impede the venting process?? Thanks

We have had screens on the two campers we have owned and no problems with rv refrigerators since 2007. These were installed by dealer. Also have had screens on furnace and water heater openings without any known problems during the same time frame.

Agree with Navybanker. We've used them since the rig was new. Particularly useful if you have mud dobbers in the area.

I agree with both previous posts. Over 5 years full time and no problems having them on reefer/furnace/and WH.

All of our openings to propane appliances have them. Too many mud dobbers where we go.
