Hi Guys, I'll wrap this up.
The 30psi regulator was re-installed. There no problem with it, was removed in the trouble shooting effort.
A new igniter was installed with the gap set @ 1/8". We saw nothing wrong with the original one, other than the gap was a bit too wide.
The LP pressure on the switchover regulator was increased to 11"wc from the original setting of 8.5"wc
This was a intermittent problem so some of the things done were to kinda eliminate possible causes.
The wide gap and low pressure was the problem in the end.
Presently in sunny/not S Texas with 49 degrees and drizzle. But the furnace is working...2 days and forecast is back to 80.
