2013 Screen Door Plexiglas
DW wants plexiglas placed over the screen door to be able to see out. I checked several at the Mid Atlantic Rally but none were the new screen doors that come on the 2013 models. Does anyone have pictures of how you did the plexiglas on the 2013 screen doors?

I did Jan and Paul Kelpes with Velcro and put it on the outside of the door like Jim and Vickie Fischer or George and Rosetta Person.
It firms up the door too so it does not sag.

John made one piece to cover the bottom part and then one piece with a "jog" for the top part. he did a very nice job. I would send a picture but the trailer isn't near me. You can look at it at the Goshen Rally and could even use it as a template (ask John how I know))

On our 2010, I made a heavy brown paper pattern of the screen area. I took it to an Ace hardware and the guy there cut the plastic to fit and the fit was perfect. It fits on the inside of the door over the screen, and is easily removable It makes a big difference in interior brightness, plus the dogs can see out.

I took the door off, 6 screws. Took it to a glass shop and had them cut and install it. $80.00.

My screen door has a grove inside of the screen. The Plexiglas was cut to fit this grove on the top and both sides leaving the bottom to rest on the ridge in the door center of each of the two pieces of Plexiglas.. It is pliable enough to bend slightly and snap into place and snap back out to clean the side towards the screen. The screen itself remains in case you would want to remove the Plexiglas. In the climates I remain in, the screen is worthless as usually both a/c's are running. I just left it there in case I would ever want to go someplace where some cool breezes prevail, not likely.

I cut plexiglass and used velcro to attach it to the outside of the door. If we want air to flow in, I can simply "unzip" one or both panels.

I ordered some 40mm vinyl online and am making it so I can roll it up when need be with ties at the top. The bottom will stay on. We are going to sew white velcro to it to seal it to the door. We used the Plexiglas on our other Monty and it work good also. Well worth the time and money to do it.
