Slide out toppers

The awenings or toppers on our slide outs are coming apart. We have ordered replacements but they didn't come with instructions. How hard are they to replace? We live in ours full time and don't want to break camp to take it some where. 2003 3670 Montana we love our home. Thanks for any help GBSB

If you have the A&E toppers, the instructions I got from a friend to replace the fabric was to run the slide in, place pins in the roller on each end (cotter pins on video), remove the roller assembly, and slide the fabric out of the track. Then you can unroll the fabric and replace it. Don't pull those pins until you get the tube back in place on the slide! The video helped me understand his instructions a bit better.

gbsb, not too bad a job. Do the change out with the awning rolled up (eliminates the spring tension). Is easiest to have a helper for the long ones. I installed them on my rig without help...you should be able to get the instructions off the web...which mfr did you get?
