Electric fireplace
Well, I did it. I finally got it installed. Looks great....I know, where is the picture. Well, I still need to take it and figure out how to post it.
I had no open circuits on my board so had to set up a switch so that either the fireplace or the microwave is on. The hardest part was finding out that the ground wire was so tight that I could not pull the circuit board panel out to do the wiring and it was not reachable from behind. Took me about 10 minutes to figure that out, but once that was done it all worked out great.
The bonus was that I received 10 bonus points from my wife.

Nice to hear, but you know that one "aww crap" will wipe out 10,000 of those "bonus points" don't you?

Please explain the bonus point concept. Sounds like I need to get some of those????? We definitely need a pic or two, worth a thousand words..... Picture posting instructions are on the home page (top left menu item above)

Everytime you do something that pleases the DW, you get bonus points. But as I said, one "aw crap" wipes out 10,000 bonus points!

Hey Mike,
Finally, we talked about that a long time ago at Siskiyou!
Did you use the same fireplace I used?
We love our Dimplex, keeps us toasty.
