Disc Brake Upgrade
I am preparing to order necessary parts to upgrade to Kodiac disc brakes and trying to decide whether to get steel brake line kit or the total rubber kit. Can anyone advise me which is better or is either OK?

I'd go with steel main lines and rubber lines to the calipers. Just makes better sense to me ... look at any vehicle. Granted you will have to double flare the steel lines for a custom fit, but no biggie. If you don't have a flare tool ... rent one at any auto parts store.

Go with the steel lines for the mains and use the steel braided lines going out to the calipers.
It will be a near fail proof set up.
Just my Nickles worth........

I have seen both.,I don't know that it makes much difference. Etrailer sells a complete line kit, ready to install. I used steel lines and flex hoses from pump, and to the calipers

Nice upgrade. When you say steel are you talking SS or mild steel? Depending on where you live the mild steel can corrode and possibly cause some issues especially since brake fluid attracts water. I know a lot of cars just have mild steel but if you use SS it would be one less worry.
I think it was on Motorweek that they were talking about the issue with mild steel.
I am sure you will be very happy with your upgrade to disk brakes.
