Mor-Ryde installs the kodiak brakes. There is no comparison between the disc and drum. The disc are well worth it. I wouldn't have an rv without it.

I did the job myself 18 months ago with parts from etrailer for $1800, so would guess you should be able to get done at a shop for around $2500. I will say again that this is the best upgrade I have done to our 3150RL and it has paid for itself on at least 2 memorable emergency stops! I estimate that the stopping distance for the rig was cut almost in half with the disk brake install. Please get it done as soon as you can!

If someone is traveling in the south or southwest they can contact Zanetti Trailer Repair about 25 or 30 miles west of Ft Worth in the town of Weatherford for Kodiac disc brakes. These are the same brakes that they install at Mor-RYDE and they are a little cheaper. You can drop it off in the morning and pick up that afternoom. I was going to have them do my rv but i decided to have the IS done so went to Mor- Ryde and had brakes and suspension done together. Zanetti had an article written about them i believe in Trailer Life a couple of years ago. There number is 817-599-9685.
