Good Oklahoma City Campgrounds?

I am headed there in July and wondered if anyone had any recommendations.

I would also suggest Rockwell Rv. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Be sure to take the kids to Bricktown and ride on the canal. Also the Bass Pro shop is there. In addition to the Tropical Garden and of course the Memorial. They are all within a few blocks of each other. You can get all day tickets for the canal boats and ride as many times as one would like. Just don't do it during the middle of a hot day.

I forgot to mention that the folks at Rockwell will treat you like family. They have free coffee, muffins and a newspaper every morning at 8:30 AM. When we asked for a good place to eat for our final evening meal in OK City, they reccommended the Cimaron Steak House. If was great and not that expensive. If you want entertainment go Friday night or Saturday night, you can also do some boot scootin' if you like. Of course McClain Rv is close by which also contains a camping world, a super Walmart. A Timberline (I think that's the name.) steak house, similar to a Golden Corral, or a Ryan's etc. in close by.

I would also recommend the Rockwell RV park in OKC. Bricktown and the Memorial are great to visit. If you have kids with you WhiteWater is only a few miles from the RV Park. If you are looking for a fine dining experience the drive to Applewoods Resturant on North Memorial would be worth the effort and cost. Applewoods is known for apple fritters, hot rolls and excellent steaks but it is a little pricey.
