In these pics I'm making the feet & toes, then the painting begins in a few days, probably when I get to creekwood farms tuesday. Might even let sailor paint them lol!!
thanks

Tom,
I am impressed with your talent! Wow! That is about all I can say. What a great hobby to have. Constantly creating something beautiful and keeping you "busy" all at the same time.
I look forward to more of your beautiful creations.

thanks Dennis, it does keep me busy, and I enjoy it. Today I had 3 little guys and 1 little girl sitting and watching and asking all sorts of questions about carving and birds I think the youngest was 8 and the oldest was 12. Sure makes it worthwhile.

Tom,
A friend of mine in P'cola and you should get together. He has hundreds, if not thousands, of pictures of birds from all over the world. He said he would make me a CD of them and I'm going to hold him to it.

Wayne, that would be great. I have 4 notebooks full of bird and waterfowl pics, I started carving in 1987 and for years only carved duck decorative decoys. then about 2 yrs ago switched over to songbirds. thanks for looking wayne

Hey Tom, your getting brave now carving two... I just can't wait to see you carve a COVET of quail. ha ha
As always my friend, they are wonderful. I know the rally's are not long enough for proper instuction, but you sure would be an asset - It would be nice if you were able to show and prehaps get a few more MOC'ers involved. It's a great thing you are doing and to pass it on would be a blessing for those who took this carving up..
Safe Travels John
