3121RL Weights
We will be ordering a new 5th wheel in a couple of months, and if we were ordering today, it would be the 3121RL. If any owners out there have weighed their unit, could you please pass on those numbers? Loaded trailer weight? Loaded pin weight? Axle weight? And the weight on both sides if anyone has that. I've never been able to get that weight on my present camper. Any other learned tidbits with regards to this model would be appreciated also.
Thanks in advance.

Did you see the numbers in the brochure? That would be a good starting point I would think.

Yes I did, but the actual pin weight on another 5er we were looking at was lot more than the brochure. I think the brochure is unloaded. Thanks.
How do you like yours? And, how do you like your hitch?

Love the rig and love the hitch. Of all the hitches I have had this one is by far the best.

How long have you had it? I don't want anything much larger, and it seems to have most of the items we are wanting. My biggest concern is reading some of the problems Montana's are having. Several folks seem to have inadequate cooling air flow problems due to collapsed return air ducts, have you experienced this? I know there are fixes for this, but also read where Montana was changing the design fall 2018. The other issue is frame flex, but that seems to be on the larger units. I know that all new campers have some things that need to be fixes. What type pin box came with yours? Sorry for so many questions.

No problem with the questions. That's why we are all here. We also did not want something larger. Just before we got this one we were looking at a 42' SOB and then realized that is not the direction we wanted to go. It would have barely fit in our RV garage and would not have fit in the driveway. The 3121RL looked like the perfect solution for our needs. We picked ours up in December so cooling has not been tested. However the heat pump and the furnace has been tested and they work great. I have no doubt the cooling will be just fine. As for frame flex only time will tell. We had some minor things that needed repaired but I took care of those myself. This weekend I replaced the Thetford toilet with the Dometic 320. The pin box is Lippert Road Armor. It seems like a good one so far.
