Hello

Hello Everyone, from Maple Ridge, BC
Just brought home our 2015 Mountianeer 356tbf this weekend. We upgraded from a TT and look forward to traveling with the new 5er and meeting other members. Our summer vacation plans are to travel the west coast of Washinton and Oregon. I've been reading this forum for the last few months and have enjoyed the culture and knowledge base of the entire Montana owners family here. See you on the road...

Welcome! We, too, hope to be in WA and OR this summer (depending on when we get our Big Sky back from Keystone's service center). Who knows - maybe we can meet up.

Welcome from NW Arkansas. We have a 2014 Mountaineer 356tbf. Have really enjoyed it, however hope they have changed the fresh water tank in the 2015. Ours has the overflow on the SIDE of the tank which meant we lost 2/3 of our fresh water when we filled up to dry camp. Out dealer said the reason it was on the side was because there was no room to put it on top of the tank. They put a p trap and a flow restrictor. Worked the last time we were out but wasn't pulling any big mountains. Have also had frig issues every since we bought it and now has been at the shop for 5 weeks trying to get it fixed. Better be fixed soon, we have some trips coming up.

I will be dewinterizing this weekend and will check where the overflow is. Do you have a washer/dryer? I bought a vented splendide combo unit and need to drill a hole for the vent. There is a label marking the location, but not sure if I hit the label, or the general area (between studs of course)

Sorry we don't have the washer/dryer. I bet there is someone on here that can answer your question. Congrats on the fiver and safe travels. We love having the bunk room, extra half bath and outdoor kitchen! We are not fulltimers and we travel with grandkids a lot.
