Add a Dimmer?

Hi Friends! My Montana HC 294RL came with the standard touch dimmer on the two LED's over the theatre seats in the living area. Are these special LED lamps or can you put a dimmer on any of the ceiling puck lamps in the coach? DW and I are finding that 6 of the LED ceiling lights in the bedroom are way overkill...sooo bright! Is it possible to install a touch dimmer on the switch for the bedroom ceiling lights? If so, anyone install? is is easy to do? Anyone have a part # or description? Any information? Thanks All!

I installed this dimmer in both our living room and bedroom.

Both rooms have 6 LED lights and I agree it's overkill most of the time.
Installation is very easy. I used crimp connectors instead of wire nuts.

Thanks for the info Robert. I pulled the bedroom switch, and since I am not an electrician or an expert on 12 volt trailer wiring, I have to as a couple of additional questions about your installation.
The wiring into the existing on/off switch is 2 wires on the top connector and 1 wire on the bottom connector. All three wires have a green and white jacket and there is no indicator as to which connector is "in" or "out". The wires on the dimmer are 2 wires, black and white, on both "in", "out". (They're marked)

Can you tell me how you connected these?
Sorry for my ignorance, but hey, if you want to learn, you ask! Right?

There should be wires connected together behind the switch not connected to the switch ... neutral path. Just use a volt/ohm meter with the switch toggled off to find which side of the switch is hot between that terminal and the neutral bundle.

Your new dimmer should be marked positive, negative and switch leg or whatever terminology they use, sorry I don't remember. They are 12 volt DC so it is relatively safe and won't hurt you like 120 volt AC. Like DieselGuy said, the wires connected together without going through the switch is the negative or ground. The dimmer I got requires a ground connection so you will need to tap into that for ground. The two on the switch are positive and switch leg to the lights. You can safely touch them together until the lights come on to see if you have it right.
