Replacing Bedroom Lower Seal
Was trying to see if anyone has replaced the seal under the bedroom slide? Mine has a rip in it and would like to replace it myself.
Thanks
Perry

Perry, I haven't heard of anyone on the site, but maybe Dale; MIMF will reply, he worked for Lippert.

Perry,
My 2005 Mountaineer had a problem with that seal on the bedroom slide. I just tacked it back up with the staple gun.

If it's similar to my only slide's top seal, the rubber has a couple of rows of springy "teeth" that grab the sheet metal. I bought the seal at a local RV parts place and installed it myself - off with the old and on with the new. No problem at all. On ours the little teeth had gotten wet an rusted out.

Thanks to everyone who has responded. I went to the local dealer and took a look at the new unit. There is a big difference in the way the lower seal is designed. I'm going to give Montana a call and see if they made some improvements to the seal under the bedroom.
Thanks
Perry
