Newbie question: Axle Ratio?

My 2012 Ford F250 Diesel has a 3.55 on it and I am getting 19+MPG hwy and 11.7 hauling the trailer. Have not found a hill yet that would stop it and not many that slow it down.

I believe the Dodge 4.10 gives the max GCWR over the other 2. I am not sure but the GCWR is over 26-28K range with a 4.10. Some members have heavier trailers and carrying capacity, i.e. tools, maybe IS is heavier when added, disc brakes and more tools which make the 4.10 a better fit than 3.73 for most of us.

According to the Ford f450 brochure I have they come with a 4.30 gear and I believe the towing cap is 24,000 and all you can get is the diesel in it!
