Glass inserts in storage doors

Just took my 07 3075 to my dealer for some warranty work. Mentioned to the Svc Mgr that the inside plastic covering on all 13 storage doors had separated from the glass and is noticable from the outside. His responce was to cut the plastic film off of the glass, until he read the warning label not to remove the plastic film. He called Keystone and they are sending 13 new glass inserts for the dealer to install. Keystone had problems with the old vendor of this product and now has a new vendor. Anyone out there having this problem may want to contact their Keystone Service Manager. My Svs Mgr had never heard of this problem before and was surprised Keystone was sending new glass. I didn't think anyone would do anything about it but I thought I would ask. You never know??

Is the plastic film what makes the glass look like it is etched?

Are those the little storage cabinets up next to the ceiling?

Evidently the glass is not shatterproof therefore the plastic film on the back makes it shatterproof. The etching is on the glass.

I wrote in last summer and no one had heard of the problem. We have a 07 3400 and love it. At least 5 of my glass doors have bubbles. One suggestion was to use a needle and poke a hole and release the air. I did just that. It is just ok, however if you can get new glass inserts that is even better. Good to know they did have a problem and are fixing it.. I too didn't think anything would be done, so just let it go.. I will contact the Keystone company as my way isn't really acceptable just do-able and still under warranty. Thanks for the info. Sharon
