Looks like an excellent option. Wish I was aware of it last year when I purchased my 3580. Just curious, are the tires G614's and what wash the cost of the option?

Dui,

The "Big Sky Package" was $6,500. It includes Full Body Paint, "G" Range Radial Tires, Six Point Auto Hydraulic Leveling by Lippet, Radius Fiberglass Shower. The original "Big Sky Package" list for $14,720, the promotional price was $10,070. The special promotional price was $6,500. I am real happy that we took the "Big Sky Package" along with the "Moving to Montana Package" and the "Hickory Edition Package".

Frank

Just took delivery of our new 3580RL with the "Moving to Montana Package" the "Hickory Edition Package" and the "Big Sky Package". The main reason we went for the "Big Sky Package" was for the Lippet 6 Point Leveling System but the full body paint realy made us fall in love with it. The radius shower and "G" rated tires and wheels also made it all worth while. All my family and friends are stopping by to look at the new rig and can not believe how nice it is on the inside and the looks of the full body paint. I can not wait for our first trip on the road and the questions and looks we will get at a RV park.

Frank
Congratulations, Frank! Sounds like a beautiful rig!

Us? Nope! We factory ordered ours in September of 2008 when the s**t hit the fan, financially. We decided to continue with our order because we hoped that our small contribution would help all of us Americans. But, we have to say that the quality of our Big Sky pales in comparison to our 2006 Montana 3400RL. After all, if you're told that you'll be let go at the end of the week, would you be concerned about quality control?

On the upside, while we have many problems, including a frame issue, Keystone has done the right thing by committing to fixing all of our problems. We'll be in Goshen on Memorial Day and will post our feelings about the repairs. In the past, the Service Center has been top rate and we expect the same this time.

Sometimes we think we should have waited a year or so -- but, it is what it is...

Salesman called yesterday and said he just got in a new 3580 with the Big Sky package. We went a took a look at it this morning and I have to say we were very disappointed. This thing was nothing like our Big Sky. I did like the levelers and it did have Goodyear G614s, and I did like the whole body paint. We didnt like this floor plan to begin with however the interior really looked cheap compared to our Big Sky, they really cut a lot of corners on this package. I think they should be ashamed calling this a Big Sky. This is my opinion only but I think they will be sorry if they eliminate the real Big Sky.

I was so glad to see they no longer have the "legless table in the new Big Sky. The sliding/adjustable table is a much better option. The new 2011 Big Sky with matching slideout sidewalls and front lower caps are a nice upgrade as well.

Bill, you are right. We went and looked at a new Big Sky and it is not as nice as your unit. It is missing all of the nice trim inside that the true Big Sky had.

You guys excited my curiosity, so I visited the Montana site. It's confusing. There seems to be
1 Mountaineer
2 High Country (new light weight line)
3 Montana (with Big Sky package available)
4 Big Sky
5 Alpine (anew upgraded line)

Larry & Pat,

The Big Sky package includes a 6 point automatic leveling system, full body paint, a curved shower enclosure and G rated tires. It's an upgrade that Keystone now offers to 8 of it's Montana floor plans. On the Montana site, you should be able to see what floor plans it is available on.
