Another new member

I've been lurking for a couple of months & decided to introduce myself. My hubby & I bought our 2014 HC in Feb. We live in SW Florida & our took her (Hannah) out to San Antonio after our shakedown weekend. We had been without a camper for 5 yrs. & were thrilled to get back into it! We shopped RV shows for the last 4 yrs. & got serious the last year after my husband retired. We had a '92 Coleman Arcadia pop-up & a 2000 Thor Wanderer. Loved that pop-up but our Wanderer fell apart due to poor workmanship & water damage so we were a little paranoid about what to buy. I've seen the complaints on here about the Montys but we saw a lot of problems with other manufacturers when we were shopping. So far we are very happy with our rig, although we are having some A/C trouble but that's a Dometic issue vs. Keystone, even though they are handling it. Only thing I would change is the Neo-Angle shower, I hate it. So hopefully I only will have to post about good things.

Welcome to the forum! One thing you have to realize is that we have thousands of members and the help aspect of the forum lends it'self to only reporting problems, so things are no where near as bad as they appear here.

Welcome from our winter/spring home outside port charlotte! I'm glad someone told me about the forum so that I can see how people deal with the rv issues that arise and the changes they make to improve how it works for them. Nothing is perfect over its lifetime, so expect to see stuff going bad. Here's to the wonderful world of rv'ing! John

Welcome from Colorado, home of the 2016 Rocky Mountain Regional Rally. Enjoy your new unit. I agree with the comment about problems. We are in our third Montana and we have found between this forum, the dealer and Montana that we have been relatively problem free. May you have many great adventures.
