Grey tank blues!

Lots of discussion that I have read mostly on other forums seems to indicate that the tank level indicators are at best approximations of tank levels, erratic or totally wacky. The ones on our Montana are not precise instruments. Even right after dumping the gray water tank indicator light may sometimes indicate 2/3 full. Tank levels indicated hardly ever fall below 1/3 full. Is this a correctable situation by the dealer during the waranty period? Any experience along these lines out there would be a help to us.
