Remote problems

When our 5er was delivered last year there was a problem with the remote operating the landing gear intermittently. We thought it was fixed and took delivery. Over the last year the problem has been coming and going but only with the landing gear. The remote works the slides, awning and rear stabilizers fine. I talked to the dealer today and Lippert had sent them a new circuit board for the receiver and the problem is still there. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I have a similar problem. In my case it is the molex plug for the control panel. I have a bad ground connection in the molex so when I press the on/off button it does not always come on. Dealer tried 3 times to fix but could not find the problem. I finally figured it out when I tried each wire and not just grab all the wires in the plug.

I have the same problem but it is the button on the remote. If you push it just right it works. All the other functions function normally.

On our previous Monty we noticed that when the battery got low or I stepped into the wrong spot we would have transmitting issues. Started putting a new battery in about every 3 months or so and no more problems. The new rig does not have a remote so now that is one less thing to worry about.
