Cheaper cover for screen door

We loved the idea of the plexiglas for screen door, but after checking it out...it was too expensive. So, bought a clear plastic runner for carpet, industrial velco and walla we had our cover. Easy to put up & take down. We got a six & half foot length, comes 3ft wide. All for under $15.00. It isn't as tight as the plexiglass, but serves the purpose fine, keeps cool air in or heat in winter. Rolls up for easy storage when not in use. But main thing on those days when one has to stay in, you don't get that cooped up feeling.

That sounds like a great idea, especially for ease of removal according to the weather conditions.

HHHHMMMMMM?????

You just might have something there. I do have plexiglas on the lower half of the door. I didn't want it on the upper half as I didn't want the hassle of putting it on and taking it off and storing when not needed. May just take a closer look at your idea.
