The 4 I lost were properly inflated, driven at the reccommended speed, and far from weight limit. My TV has Firestone Transforce and are serving well. But I was in arbitration with GY and treated well so we have G614s. I agree that Keystone, Tredit, Thor, whomever it is should upgrade. However there are several new expensive SOBs on the CW lot with Ms . This is a subject long from being finished I'm afraid.

Good discussion about tires but I haven't seen any mention about being overweight. It seems to me that being overweight with all the stuff we try to carry is also a huge contributer to tire failure. My father-in-law carried enough stuff to rebuild his whole rig and he went through a lot of tires in his cross country trips.
X2. And it's not just a matter of being overweight in total. Those of us who have three slides on one side (one of them being the kitchen) can load our basement so that the over all load weight is good, but the drivers side tires can be overloaded.

I think Dick made a good point on the first page. Montana can't put 65 MPH tires on a camper then pay someone by the mile and expect them not to exceed that limit. People act in their own best interest and delivering the camper as fast s possible is in their interest. Maybe Montana should act in every body's best interest, including their own long term best interest and put a 75 MPH rated tire on their campers.
