oxidation

Had fifth wheel washed and waxed. Cleaning man says I have some oxidation. Suggested he can remove it for a lot of money. Can't I use something to remove it for a lot less? Anybody removed oxidation from fifth wheel? It can't be too bad, the fifth wheel is only three years old.
