Odd Looking Controllers

In the center console of our theatre seating were two plug in remotes with A/C adapters. The remotes are labeled up/down and on/off. The remotes are corded with a round, multi pin connector. Anyone know what these are used to control?

Power reclining mechanism? Or maybe ejection seat.

sounds like power recliners to me. I heard they dropped the ejection seats, couldn't get the roof to retract fast enough!!! People were getting headaches.

It appears they are heated seats. I pulled out the theatre seating and found where the a/c converters plugged in and the controllers plug in on the sides. Another "feature" that we found that the dealer was unaware of during PDI.

That would be a nice feature!! especially on those cold winter nights. So I guess the eject feature was just a rumor :-)
