Broken shackle

I just discovered a broken shackle bracket on the left rear on my Mountainerr TT. The repair shop is not in town. Can I drive on it? If so how far?

Hate to be the one to ask, but where are you? Where is the nearest town? Where is the nearest RV repair place?

If mine, I would minimize any towing.

Hi

Check around the area you are in and see if you can find a welder that works pipe lines. They are recertified every time they change location and commonly have their equipment on their truck.

When ours failed that is what I did and it worked out quite well.

Steve,
Would not attempt to move it. Get someone mobile to repair it.

If it allows an axle to shift you could completely wear out a tire or tires before many miles.

Just for information. Is the bracket broken or did the welds break loose.

Thanks for all the responses. It's getting fixed as I type. The RV dealer has a local guy working on it!
